What is the best time to apply for Vietnam visa?

Vietnam visa can be applied as early as 6 months prior to travel date so you should submit the applicatioon as soon as possible. We are sure that you don't want to waste money on it while visa to Vietnam can be obtained at low price if you apply earlier.

What do you need to get a visa for Vietnam from UK?

The requirements are various depending on how you submit the application. 

* For applications submitted at embassy:

Origin passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry in Vietnam and remain 01 empty page

Completed application form (please complete the form online on embassy's official website). The form is attached with a passport photo taken not longer than 1 year

* For online application (applicable to arrival by air only):

You can apply online on our website or any other authorized travel website. The online application is very simple regardeless you apply for business or tourist visa. All what you need is an online application form and processing fee. After the processing is completed, you will receive an approval letter which is used for boarding plane and getting Vietnam visa upon arrival at the airport.

The requirements for on-arrival-visa process for Indian citizens at the airport include:

- The approval letter

- Completed entry and exit form (the form is attached with the approval letter)

- Original passport (valid for at least 6 months)

- 01 recent passport photo

- Stamping fee ($25 for single visa, 50$ for multiple visa). Please pay the fee by cash in USD or VND. Other currencies are not accepted.

Around 10 minutes since the complete documents is presented at Immigration Counter, the visa will be placed on to your passport.

How long does the processing take?

The processing at embassy in UK requires 5 business days (normal process), 2 business days (express process), 1 business day (next-day process).

If you register for visa on arriv electronically on our website, we will arrange you the letter within 2 business days (normal process) or the same day (urgent process). 

How long can I stay in Vietnam on each visit?

Vietnam visa usually offer 1 month validity for tourist visa and 3 month validity for business visa. The visa validity is also your authorized length of stay. 

In order to stay in Vietnam longer than 3 months, you are able to extend your visa within Vietnam to 1 month or 3 months. The extension processing arranges from 7 to 10 business days.
