Process to get Vietnam visa for Indian

Aside from paper visa application submission at local embassy, the Indian passport holders can proceed with online visa application on our website to be issued an approval letter, which offers them entitlement to pick up Vietnam visa on arrival. For this reason, visa on arrival program is also mentioned as pre-arranged visa approval letter. If you think this sounds interesting, let's learn more about on-arrival Vietnam visa process.

Process of visa on arrival involves 4 steps: Apply online ---> Make payment ---> Obtain visa approval letter ---> Get visa stamped

Step 1: Apply online

Go to "Apply online" and enter all the required information  (your visa and Passport information needs to match). After completing the form, please double check it for accuracy and click on "submit" button to finish the application.

Note: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months by the time you enter Vietnam.

Step 2: Make payment

Once the application is well-submitted, you are directed to payment page. The payment can be made with credit/debit card through online payment gateway.

The fee ranges from 5$ to 30$ depending on your type of Vietnam visa. After we have received your full payment, you immediately get a notification email stating the date you will receive the approval letter

Step 3: Get visa approval letter

Within 2 business day (normal service), 1 business day (urgent service) or 4 business hours (super-urgent service), the visa approval letter will be emailed to you with an entry-exit form, which can be download and printed out.

Step 4: Get visa stamped upon arrival

At arrival airport, you will be requested to submit the letter, completed entry-exit form, 01 passport photo, origin passport and stamping fee (25$ for single visas, 50$ for multiple visa, cash only). The custom official then will check your documents and put a visa stamped onto your passport.

Although it is simple and easy to follow, it doesn’t need to worry about its legitimacy. In fact, visa on arrival is approved and issued by Vietnam visa Immigration, not any travel agents. The travel agents are just allowed to submit application for Vietnam visa online on the behalf of their customers. Therefore, there is no difference between the validity of visa on arrival with the one obtained from Vietnam embassies all over the world. Over the past years, so many travelers have applied for Vietnam visa upon arrival with free of hassle. You also won’t be an exception.
